Re-Pac’ Gets Uncut Gameplay Footage At Anime Expo

The first piece of uncut footage in the game for Pac man World: Re-Pac was shared by Bandai Namco prior to the game’s release.

Slated for release on August 26 this year, Pac-Man World: Re-Pac is a remake of the 1999 PS1 title, which saw the iconic character transition from the arcade cabinet to the 3D platform.

Now, the first piece of proper in-game footage has been shared at Anime Expo 2022, with a handful of new details also revealed about the game as well.

Some changes are made in Pac-Man World: Re-Pacsuch as the way the UI is changed to help players track elements better, with additional polish added to the game so that Pac-Man doesn’t fall off certain edges.

It was also revealed (via daily pacman) which, as in the Game Boy Advance version of Pac-Man Worldplayers can choose not to rescue any members of the Pac-Family before facing Toc-Man’s final boss.

Pac-Man World: Re-Pac was first announced during the recent Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase, and it’s coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch in August.

According to the game websitethe title will have “refined graphics, improved gameplay and updated features”, and it adds that players can “adventure through the main campaign in Quest mode, play a collection of 3D mazes with gameplay of classic style in maze mode, and enjoy Pac manthe original arcade classic that started it all in Original mode! »
