MANILA, Philippines — Converge ended their two-game slide in the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday with a 97-84 victory over the ill-fated Terrafirma at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Mike DiGregorio and Maverick Ahanmisi rolled up their sleeves in the final frame, scoring at least 12 points apiece in that span alone to help the FiberXers go 2-3 in the run.

“We wanted to come in knowing they’re way better than their record,” coach Jeff Cariaso said.

“Terrafirma are a tough team and we know how good they can be even with the guys left,” he added.

DiGregorio finished with 19 points, while Ahanmisi 17 with eight rebounds and eight assists.

The Dyip, meanwhile, got the goods from Joseph Gabayni who scored 18 points. Aldrech Ramos netted 15 more while three others also finished in double figures.

Terrafirma, which misses starters Isaac Go and Ed Daquioag through injuries, remains winless in four games.
